Don’t Get Distracted!
Sometimes it can be easy to lose focus of your goals. You forget what you want and where you want to be.
Keep your goals in mind, always. And RUN towards those goals as fast as you can.

Sometimes there are things in life that try to pull you down and get in your way. They disscourage you and make you think you cannot fulfill your dreams.
When these things bring you down, You need to remember that there is nothing that completely stands in the way of you and your dreams.
There will be obstacles! But Nothing you can not handle. Jump over, crawl under, or run around the obstacles in your way. Get around them somehow and move on toward your goals.

Fake Fotos…
Today I was reading a friends post. It said that she saw a photo a model posted of herself, however, the photo was the models head photoshoped onto another models body.
First off, If you can’t work out and get your own body into the shape you want it to be in for your photos, maybe you shouldnt be modeling yet.
Even if you get permission from all parties that own rights to the pics, I recommend not using them. It might come back and bite you in the butt. There are a number of things that could go wrong…
One or more of the parties that has rights to it may change their mind about your use of the photo… now you have a lawsuit…
You could get denied a modeling gig, or any other gig because of fake photos.
You might also get blacklisted. (If you dont know what this is, Wikipedia it.)
When you use photos that arent yours to further yourself as a Model, Stylist, Photog, MUA, ect. you are falsely advertising yourself or your product.
As a business owner, I think that you must use your own photos to promote your business. And if you are a model who want to make a living out of what you do, You Are A Business Owner and your business is YOU.
Do you think Toni & Guy use photos taken by Vidal Sassoon to promote their company?
Do you think Playboy uses photos Hustler took to use in their magazine?
Do you think Apple uses photoshoped pictures of a PC to advertize their business?
NO! They all take their own photos of their own product!
So today I challenge you all as business owners…
•Make goals for yourself. Achievable yet hard enough that you have to work to reach the goals. When you work hard, you appreciate your success more.
•Be honest. Use your own photos. Noone wants to get blacklisted!
•Look the best you can, always! If you are not happy with how you look, Change it. (only change for yourself, Not for others)
White Salamander Preview…
I finally got done with the Preview video for White Salamander Skateboard Co.
We did a photo shoot and I’ve made a sick promo video for them.
Now I need to keep working on the final video…

As a hairstylist, you must be on top of todays fashion. This is why I take the time out of my day to search fashion. It is not something you can do once and then you know it. You must keep searching for the newest trends because they keep changing. If you don’t, you will be left behind.
